How often should I service my boiler?
We recommend an annual service. Most boiler manufacturers require an annual service to keep the warranty valid. It's best to service before winter so you know your heating is ready.
What happens during a boiler service?
We check gas pressure, flue emissions, all safety devices, the heat exchanger, seals, and controls. We clean components as needed and provide a service record. The whole process takes about 45-60 minutes.
Is a boiler service the same as a gas safety check?
No. A gas safety check (CP12) is a legal requirement for landlords and checks all gas appliances are safe. A boiler service is a more thorough maintenance check on the boiler itself. We can do both at the same visit.
Will servicing void my warranty?
The opposite - most manufacturers require annual servicing to keep the warranty valid. We provide a service record you can keep for your warranty claims.
